Fred Press Glass Decanter Beverage Server Pyrex Fish Gold Black 60s MCM Vintage

Up for auction is a Pyrex glass decanter/beverage server with decoration by Fred Press. The decanter is approximately 10" tall (with the stopper on) and approximately 6" wide at its widest point. The decanter itself is in fantastic condition. The stopper, however, has a chip out of the plastic/bakelite material. It can be placed so that the chip hides behind the handle. The good news is that, if you wanted a pristine example, you can find these decanters with...less...cool decorations for relatively cheap and nab a stopper from one of them. It's a stock piece and there aren't any design elements on the stopper than make it specific to the Fred Press version. The decanter itself is in excellent condition. I haven't been able to find any other examples of this online, so it seems to be very rare!
