VOROSHILOVGRAD  REGION .
Now this is the Luhansk region. In the history of the Soviet Union this place has changed its name 4 times. For the first time, Lugansk became Voroshilovgrad on November 5, 1935. In 1958, the city will again become Lugansk, in 1970 it will again be renamed Voroshilovgrad.
And only 20 years later - in 1990 - the historical name of Lugansk was restored.                                              Currently, the Luhansk region is conducting military operations for secession from Ukraine.
