Vintage Toiletry Containers, Face Powder etc.

Description

This is a collection of vintage containers for vanity products/accessories (all are empty).  The big one (4" across) is so cool!  It's Max Factor's Theatrical Face Powder, made in Hollywood, CA, year unknown.  It has Max Factor's picture on the side and it is in incredibly good condition.  The little jar on the left is white milk glass and says "Fresh Cream Deodorant" with instructions for use printed around the lid.  The little orange tin is "Sweet Georgia Brown Hair Dressing Pomade," from Valmor Products Co.  You could get a full-sized can for $.50.  This tin is 1 1/8" across and was meant for a one-time application.  The other little jar says "Cerat Elcaya" which I was unfamiliar with.  My research says that this skin cream (at that time called toilet creme) was produced sometime between 1900 and 1920.  This jar is dated 1906 and still has its paper labels.  It has a small dent in the lid but is otherwise in very good condition.  P
