Estate Fresh, Authentic, Bakelite WWII U.S. Marine Corps Heart Shaped Perfume Bottle. This is one of the more attractive USMC sweetheart items we've come across in the last few years, and we couldn't find recorded sale of another. The EGA is Sterling Silver (tested) and it's laid atop a circular piece of mother of pearl. The bracelet is unmarked sterling silver, and the heart is guaranteed to be authentic Bakelite. There are very fine hairline cracks on either side of the heart where the original mounting brackets were installed. I don't believe this should effect the functionality of the bottle, but I've not tested it by putting liquid inside. This is a fantastic piece, and again, one of the best looking / and obscure USMC sweetheart items we've seen.
